When bringing in additional resources to assist with the growth of your business, what are the rules that determine whether someone can be properly categorised as a contractor. When should someone be treated as an employee and what are the associated compliance obligations.

Participants will come away with an understanding of how to properly remunerate staff and when appropriate, satisfy their obligations in respect to GST, PAYG, Superannuation, Workcover and Payroll Tax.

Commencing his career in a Big Four accounting firm, Daniel Dubois has more than 20 years’ experience as a chartered accountant. He has financial expertise across a wide variety of disciplines including accountancy, tax and audit for SMEs and ASX listed entities, and self-managed superannuation fund advisory.
