Start-Up Employee Share Scheme Concessions

Finding, motivating and retaining Employees is a key challenge in any business; even more so for a start-up where the business case is evolving and funds can be tight.

In this session we will explore why some Companies are using Employee Share Plans to engage & motivate employees, discuss the key attributes of common Plans and clarify the start-up concessions that can make a Plan tax effective.

Luke Henry commenced with LDB on 13 January 2003 and was appointed as a Partner on 1 July 2011. Luke’s experience is in corporate restructure and business services particularly software service & development companies, real estate agencies, wholesale food service and medical practices.

His specialities are business services and tax compliance.

In addition to a Bachelor of Commerce, Luke holds a Master of Taxation. He is a registered tax agent and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
