Revitalising Bayswater

The Bayswater Traders Association is pursuing a range of initiatives designed to improve the performance of this shopping and business centre. A Business Plan was finalised in late 2003 (attached) which puts forward a range of projects to help this centre become more vibrant. Funding is being provided through a special rate scheme levied on all properties in the centre ($75,000 per annum over 4 years). State Government and Knox City Council are also supporting the centre financially through the Streetlife program. Council adopted a place management approach to the revitalisation of the centre.
