It serves the needs of Australian businesses in the manufacturing, resources and services sectors seeking to enhance innovative activities and improve competitiveness. AusIndustry does this by providing a range of commercial incentives and information services for Australian businesses.
Austrade	Provides a range of services to business designed to assist them with developing export markets.
Australian Retailers Assocation - Victoria	A nationwide organisation representing the interests of all retailers and a provider of quality information and services to members which fosters an environment conducive to their business success.
Business Victoria	Get your business information fast. Business Victoria offers up-to-date information on starting, improving or selling your business which covers local, state and federal government issues. You can also access interactive services such as Find a Program or Grant, the Business Licence Information Service, Step-By-Step Guides, Ask A Question, Contact Search and the Export Communication Network.
Business Entry Point	A Federal / State Government initiative that provides information on topics such as business assistance, common business questions, starting a new business, operating a business, employing people, exporting and importing, taxation, superannuation, OH&S, customs, and workplace relations. The site offers the opportunity to register your company, for sales tax, as a group employer, as an eligible paying authority under PPS and apply for a tax file number.
Business License Information Service	Victoria's Business Licence Information Service (BLIS) helps you to identify the government licences and codes of practice required to operate your business, whether you are thinking of starting a cafe, wanting to operate an animal shelter, or even wanting to manufacture or export. You will be able to create an easy to read report suited to your business.
Committee for Economic Development of Australia	Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) is an independent, apolitical organisation made up of business leaders, academics and others who have an interest in, and commitment to, Australia's economic and social development. CEDA undertakes objective research and discussion into issues affecting Australia's growth.
Eastern Business Network	An eastern Melbourne business network coordinated by Swinburne University of Technology, TAFE Division. Meetings are held monthly in the region. A great opportunity to meet other business people.
Export Finance and Insurance Corporation	Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC) can assist clients with specialist economic and commercial knowledge of more than 225 countries, credit checking of overseas buyers, identifying export contract issues, minimising payment delays by working with Australian companies and their overseas buyers, and providing advice on effective credit management policies and practices. EFIC is an initiative of the Commonwealth Government.
IndustryCapabilitiesNetwork	ICN promotes Victorian and Australian industry through import replacement and opportunities for participation in overseas projects. It performs a technical role providing purchasers with a free sourcing service to identify Australian manufacturers capable of supplying those items that would otherwise be imported.
Innovic	A not-for-profit organisation which assists small business operators to get their product onto the market. Can provide assistance with product design, development, marketing etc. Provides a complete export service and personal representation in international markets.
IPAustralia	IP Australia is the federal government agency that grants rights in patents, trade marks and designs.
Knox City Council	The Knox Council Web Site has a range of information on local happenings, descriptions of the municipality and Council services.
Knox Community	A privately run website offering a directory of local businesses and information on community happenings in Knox.
Swinburne University of Technology / TAFE	With a TAFE campus based at Wantirna, Swinburne offers a range of services to business. This ranges from customised training programs, consultancy services, Business Enterprise Centres and an Industry Development Centre.
The Small Business Counselling Service	A non-profit group of retired and semi-retired business executives available to provide low cost business expertise with existing small to medium enterprises. Advice ranges from finance and marketing, through to management and export.
VECCI	The Victorian Employers Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI) provides a range of advisory, consulting and training services to businesses of all sizes. Rates are lower for members, and information includes employee relations and human resource management, international trade, information and training, networking and economic analysis.
VicIT	A State Government funded website that contains a database of companies able to provide advice on elctronic commerce.
Victorian Business Centre, Vermont	Victorian Business Centres provide an easy means of accessing government departments, licensing information & other support services to help you run or establish a business. The Centres provide a range of resources, searchable electronic databases, business licensing information and related business-reference tools.
