Regional Analysis & Economic Development Framework August 2009

The project includes three components:

• Analysis of the structure of the Knox business community;
• Assessment of the capacity within Knox to encourage an environmental technologies sector / cluster; and
• An assessment of the enabling factors (and infrastructure) for economic development in Knox.

The objective is to prepare an economic development framework that will provide an operational overview that clearly and efficiently organises the objectives, activities, key client groups and service offerings of the economic development unit, as well as provides guidance as to the necessary systems, reporting requirements and metrics.
